Currently minors are not part of the Connected Community. In the near future, minors will be included with the controls listed below.
The parish has designated people between the ages of 13 years to 17 years as "minors". Members who are classified as minors, based upon the birthday in our records, have certain limits. Included in these limits is the restriction on editing certain privacy settings. Minors cannot change the default settings for who can see their phone number, street address, or email. Additionally, members above the age of 17 cannot send a message to a minor or add them as a contact. Only family members, staff members, ministry leaders, and/or other minors can send a message or request a contact request.

Question:
How is content, e.g. discussions and library entries, moderated on the site.
| |
| Answer: |
Moderation levels are set individually for each ministry or community. The Connected Community has three levels of moderation, they include no moderation, self-moderation, and full moderation.
No Moderation: In communities where the moderation is set to 'No Moderation', discussion post and library entries can be added by any ministry or community member. In this case only the site administrators can remove the content.
Self Moderation: If a community is set for self-moderation then discussions and documents may be added by anyone who is a member of the ministry. Each discussion post or library entry will have an associated link that says "Mark If Inappropriate". Any member can click this button if they find the content to be objectionable. The content will be placed in a review file for site administrators consideration.
Full Moderation: In a fully moderated community, each discussion post or library entry must first be reviewed before it's presented to the community members.
